When seeing is surviving, the Third Eye eye-cams will relay real time video to any location with receiving equipment. The Third Eye eye cam System is designed to give the advantage to the marksman in the field who has the responsibility for target resolution. He can transmit, valuable information securely in real time, in color,

day or night.

The wireless configuration, and the hard wired configuration, are equally hands free for the marksman. The eye-cams, transmitters, recorders and receivers are so small that they are stored with the battery pack in a standard backpack without increasing existing weight significantly. The rifle scope eye cam fits snugly on the rifle scope and is transparent to the user.

When the rifle scope eye-cam is used by the marksman and the spotting scope eye- cam is used by the spotter, a tamper proof chain of evidence can be accumulated.

The eye-cams are versatile and have many uses that support the transfer of information that is vital for saving lives and making good decisions in the field.

Target acquisition training is significantly faster when the rifle scope eye-cam is used to assist the trainee marksman to see the effects of his performance in real time, immediately. Corrections in technique are immediate because the video playback demonstrates what is happening and it is immediately apparent what the trainee is doing wrong.

Correct technique is taught in a shorter time frame simply making training easier and more cost effective. A dependable visual record of improvement can be kept.

 Benefits for specific uses include:

1. SWAT team training and evaluation

  • Instructor has real-time observation of the view seen by the student.
  • Instructor can record real-time video from student’s eye-cam for evaluation purposes.
  • Instructor has instant feedback of student’s actions. For example:
  • The video from a riflescope eye-cam will immediately tell the instructor how well the sniper student is aiming and pulling the trigger.
  • The video from a spotting scope eye-cam will immediately tell the instructor how well the spotter is performing his/her function.
  • Instructor has use of recorded video to identify exactly those areas where student needs to improve.
  • Recorded video feedback enables student to see exactly what mistakes were.
  • Recorded video feedback improves the student evaluation process. Students learn faster when they can see the results of their actions.
  • Recorded video feedback assists instructor in explaining possible causes of student mistakes and assists in the dialog between student and instructor on how to correct the mistakes.
  • Eye-cam use expedites training, evaluation, and student learning.

2. Tactical command

  • When eye-cams are used by each team member, the Tactical Commander has a real-time view of what his/her team sees. Based on the events as they happen, the commander has an instantaneous understanding and view of what is happening and can reposition team members as needed.
  • Recorded images/video can be relayed to support/analyst teams as needed for coordination purposes, analysis, feedback, etc.
  • Miscommunication dramatically reduced. Video correlates the events seen by the team members to the dialog from each team member. It is as if both the commander and team member were together, seeing the same view, and discussing it.

3. Surveillance and Reconnaissance

  • Team members can share their view(s) with each other.
  • Eye-cam video is easily recorded for after-the-fact analysis.
